Company Completes Annual Hose Testing

LATE POSTING:
Every year Maryland Line VFC must test their hose in order to make sure it will function properly during an emergency situation.
The hose testing consists of pumping each "lay" of hose for a set amount of pressure and a set amount of time. This includes what we call crosslays which are the hoses that are mostly used on the typical residential house fire and are pulled from the center ... (Full Story & Photos)

Busy Day for tanker 454

It’s been a busy 2 days for the Members of Maryland Line Volunteer Fire Company Tanker 454 has responded to 2 Working Fires, 1 being a 2nd Alarm Structure Fire. Yesterday, Tanker 454 was alerted at 1000hrs for a Barn Fire in Butler. Units arrived to find a 50x50 Barn completely burned to the ground. Units worked together to save the animals involved. I-83 Incident on 12/21/23

Yesterday morning on Interstate 83, units arrived to find a heavily entrapped patient, which took many Mutual Aide Partners, along with Baltimore County Fire Department USAR 17(Texas) over 2.5 hours to extricate the patient. Patient care was established immediately and Maryland State Police - Aviation Command responded with two Helicopters one for the patient and the other to bring Doctors, Surgeons ...
